Fujicolor 100 is made for the Japanese domestic market and has never been properly sold in the US. The handful of shops that imported it are sold out, so we went and got some — fresh stock, straight from Japan.
Where C200 and Superia push the reds hard, Fujicolor 100 holds back, and skin tones come out natural instead of ruddy. Mild contrast, wide exposure latitude, and at ISO 100 the grain is fine enough that big scans stay clean. It's a daylight film and it wants good light — landscapes, architecture, outdoor portraits, anything where you care about detail.
